Eagle Bluff is the top of the rise: roughly forty metres above the water, with a view that takes in the lake from the point to the far shore and the mountains behind it. In winter the peaks across the water carry snow.

The building envelope sits at the lip of the bluff. A trail drops through the forest to the shoreline reserve in a few minutes.
